Any will do! ❤
What would Morticia do…?
Surround herself with strange, obviously! The company we keep not only speaks volumes about us, but is also our support structure. Surrounding oneself with humdrums, naysayers, or negative conformists is as damaging as it gets. . .so choose your inner circle wisely.
Normal is such a drag anyway, and no one likes to be bored.
I once was nocturnal. And frankly, I loved it… Nothing is better than the wee hours of the night – humans are sleeping, magic is unfolding. . . Ahhh. My unconventional, witchy self always leaned a bit renegade…so the space and time to manage mischief was perfection.
But…after college, those days came quickly to a halt – thank you, grown-up-hood.
I need my sleep. I need LOTS of it. And I’m so restless that if I DON’T get to bed early, I’m going to be a zombie. Likely a belligerent or over-trained one, which is woe-to-the-planent territory.
It isn’t because I’m “old” either – I joke about that but age really IS just a number. I feel healthy and happy…but sleep is a big part of that. Not partying, drinking, and smoking is another. (I can add in “not being in crowds engaging is such activities,” also, as that would very much result in my NOT feeling healthy. Or happy!)
So this gave me a solid laugh…
Empaths, INFJ types, you will probably laugh silly. Moms and dads might also, or really any regular working stiff. 😉
So many wonderful, wise gems in the seemingly outlandish Alice In Wonderland!
There is quite a lot of truth to this, and to so many sneaky little points in a story presented (merely on the colorful surface, of course) as impossible. . .
Naysayers abound, and yet the search for (and indulgence in) magical elixirs seems as feverish as ever. In fact, I dare say it takes on more and more urgency by the generation. . . . .
No. I’m afraid while magic of a sort most certainly exists. . .good old fashion work must be put in. Even – as a start – with one’s intentions!
Despite that this refers to only one day of the year (whereas I experience this around 2 am EVERY morning) I think this meme is adorable…
Without fail, by 2 in the morning I’ve been jumped on and mewed at. By both of our black cats. “MOM, I’m HUNGRYYYY!” would be a fair translation. If not that, it’s Keku saying “you DO know breakfast is coming up, right? I mean, I just want to make sure your don’t forget or anything…”
By 4 or 5 am they’ve been pushed to their limits so the second round of waking me up usually results in silencing the little ninjas…
