Ever building on the Touche Eclat empire, YSL will be launching the coveted glow-getting formula in a new format for Spring 2017. Yep, you guessed it…a cushion. LE Cushion, to be exact. 😉 The product will be offered in 7 shades designed to enhance radiance with natural coverage.
In addition to that exciting news, the Company is also brining in three Touch Eclat Glow Shots, a highlighter boasting the hefty promise of a 10-hour strobe effect AND ultra hydration, via hyaluronic acid, vitamin E, and Ruscus. Glow Shots will come in 3 shades:
- No.1 Daylight – Create a reflective, mirror effect (light skin tones)
- No.2 Sunrise – Create a rosy glow (light skin tones)
- No.3 Sunset – Create a healthy glow (medium to dark skin tones)
And…one more dashing add…the YSL Touche Eclat White, Limited Edition. I’m already chomping at the bit for this one because a “porcelain effect” is like music to my goth-y ears… It can be used for adding a beautiful sheen, or for more extreme strobe and contour effects.
I’ve always had an affinity for all things darkly-hued. I couldn’t even say why, save that there is a richness born of the depth of the color (or “absence” thereof) that woos my heart (and sight!)
I bought my mother a spectacular black pansy plant for Mother’s Day one year – nothing “morbid,” nor dreary about it! She was delighted knowing that those velvety black blooms with sunny centers and a burst of violet were my way of smiling at her each day. ❤
I also have a tradition of sending 50 Black Baccara roses to my parents for Halloween. This year, my wedding in on the 29th (as close to Hallows as I could manage!) but I will still be sending them their gloriously, decadently-hued blooms all the same!
Black Baccara rose
“BLACK?!” people say? Well…not necessarily 100% pitch (there are some flower varieties that are pretty darn close, though!)…but very much “blackened” and beautiful most of the time.
There are countless varieties of black’ish blooms, and one day if I DO have a garden, I will endeavor to plant as many as I can. “Queen of the Night,” “Black Magic,” “Mystic Dreamer,” “Raven’s Wing”…for me, those names alone have me full swoon. Strange? Maybe…but we are all entitled! I love a brightly-colored bouquet as much as anyone, and in fact one of my favorite flowers are the Pascali rose – an angelically white bud, fresh as driven snow – that my mother planted in our garden in my honor as a child. My skating coach still calls me “Pascalli” and the memory of those striking, moonlit petals will be with for always.
Perhaps, then, I will add a Pascali plant…and some red varieties…since red is also a favored shade… Osiria, naturally, speaks to my Egyptian-Pagan-heart… ❤
And “Hearts” would work so nicely…
What would you plant in your garden…?
The name conjures images of crystalline snow flakes and an icy, moonlit glow…doesn’t it?
It might be the figure skater in me but I feel like there is something so magical about Wintertime – so many people complain about it but…
The SOUNDS Winter makes…
The scent of the air…
That pearlescent sheen of snow!
And I thought of it all at once when I saw this pale, semi-transparent powder.
According to ChicProfile (or perhaps Shiseido directly), it “will gradually increase the clarity of your skin while covering the unevenness of your complexion and also minimizing and covering your pores.”
The product contains active whitening ingredients as well, helping you to achieve that bright, porcelain perfection, nary a freckle in sight. I have some freckling – thank you, great ball of fire-in-the-sky for adding to them! – so such a promise, of glowingly clarity, is one I am truly excited about.
The formula, gently fragranced with white florals, contains “tranexamic acid and hyaluronic acid for moisturizing.” It is recommended as both a daytime powder, as well as evening, as it has skincare properties.
This beautifully snowflake-encircled compact will be available on the 21st of September in Japan. Rolling out from there, I suspect! I did see a pre-sale here, shipping September 25th as well.
