Lorac Light Source

Lorac is following on the tails of a massive highlighting…er…strobing…trend with their Light Source Illuminating Highlighters.  There’s really nothing quite like having an ethereal glow – when I workout it’s a glow for sure, but I’m not sure it qualifies as ethereal exactly!

These beauties appear to come in four gorgeous, pale pink shades, though details are yet to be announced.

I try my best to steer clear of glitter and shimmer these days because I prefer to be as natural and bare as I can manage.  Still, a gentle swipe of highlighter strategically placed can not only brighten and give you a rested appearance, but it also lends that youthful, baby glow that we all aim to maintain (or achieve when it’s nowhere to be found!) 😉

These look utterly divine…

Strobe Of Genius

It kind of is a stroke…er…Strobe…Of Genius from Nyx.  This highlighting, strobing palette is $19.00 – seemingly hefty, but in comparison to some high end brands, it’s a good $20 or $30 cheaper!  Nyx is also a solid brand – they have great products for the money, with formulas that deliver. Honestly, I think it’s a great deal.

The palette features seven beautiful shades in either shimmer or pearlized.  I’ve gotten away from glitter on my face – pretty much ever (which is alarming, given that I’d arrive to class in college like a disco ball!) – so this may be too much for me.  The more natural, the better.

Still, it looks like a nice collection of shades, with enough variety among them to make it worth the purchase!
