Bloody Gorgeous

No sense in denying I clicked immediately to see what this was about – “Bloody Gorgeous!” it read… Slave to the vampy side, I confess! 🙂

I absolutely LOVE the shades in this collection – equally as divine for fair or deep skin (though one need have a light hand if the former!)

Tarte’s Greatest Glitz

Many thanks to Temptalia for sharing images of Tarte’s Greatest Glitz Collector’s set(s) (do look at her page – TONS of swatches!)

The package contains three palettes which collectively hold:

  • 24 Eyeshadows
  • 1 Travel mascara
  • 1 Twist-up jumbo lip crayon
  • 3 Blushes

All three come in a rose gold box, bedecked with gold, silver, pewter and bronze sequins.  Incredibly festive, I daresay!

All three palettes can be separated, and all are well-paired and wearable – it’s more up to your personal tastes and skin tones as far as which will get used up most quickly!

For $49, this is a pretty wonderful deal.  If you didn’t want all, perhaps you could split it up for fabulous stocking stuffers?  Holidays are right around the corner!

SoKo To Tokyo Sephora Set

On and on I go about Asian skincare…!

A great new set has popped up at Sephora – Soko to Tokyo – featuring “the hottest beauty brands from South Korea to Japan.”  I’m excited!!!

The set retails for $40 – remarkable value, given it’s $115 price tag!  It includes:

  • 0.5 oz Erborian Crème Scrub Beautifying Exfoliating Pearls
  • 0.2 oz Amore Pacific Treatment Enzyme Peel
  • 1 oz Boscia Exfoliating Peel Gel
  • 1 oz SK-II Facial Treatment Essence
  • 0.68 oz Skin Inc. Pure Deepsea Hydrating Mask
  • 0.34 oz Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb
  • 0.2 oz Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Cream
  • 0.17 oz Dr. Jart+ Premium Beauty Balm SPF 45

There’s a lengthy description on Sephora’s site about the eight goodies…  I’m copying and pasting for reference, but I’m also breaking it up by product (because it’s a sizable chunk of text and…who has time!? 😉 ) I’ve highlighted each product as well to make it easier:

  1. Cleanse with Erborian’s Crème Scrub, a gentle daily cleanser featuring a soothing complex of seven Korean herbs and micropearls for skin that appears visibly clearer, smoother, and more luminous.
  2. Exfoliate and brighten with Amore Pacific’s Treatment Enzyme Peel, a highly effective, botanical-based brightening exfoliator made without harsh ingredients.
  3. Boost all your skincare steps with Boscia’s Exfoliating Peel Gel, a lightweight peeling gel that delivers gentle exfoliation for deeper, more thorough cleansing results.
  4. Follow up with SK-II’s cult-classic Facial Treatment Essence, a refreshing essence that moisturizes the skin and supports skin cell renewal.
  5. Skin Inc’s Pure Deepsea Hydrating Mask is a unique sleep-in transparent gel mask that hydrates, clarifies, and brightens skin, all in a single step.
  6. Add weightless hydration with Belif’s The True Cream Aqua Bomb, a gel-cream that ‘floods’ the skin with a rush of refreshing moisture, or Dr. Jart’s lightweight Ceramidinâ„¢ Cream, a time-release moisturizer that plumps the skin and hydrates the skin barrier from within.
  7. Top it all off with Dr. Jart’s Premium Beauty Balm SPF 45, a one-step balm that perfects the appearance of skin while protecting it from the sun and environmental factors.

Sephora “Play” – Update

So excited to see some details about Sephora’s first Play! subscription box! (My August post is here.)

The images are from @nonamemary, a private Instagramer who gets the attribution here…but we also appreciate NouveauCheap sharing with everyone, courtesy of the former – she has more photos, so do check it out!

The box was for September, it looks like – I’m guessing that it only just arrived, seeing as there aren’t many images of it floating around as yet. (I say that with some surprise, or question, because it suggests the box is for September 1st…and we all know that when a new product is out, we are on it like vultures and / or sharing like mad!)

Anyway!

Contents of this set included the following:

  • Marc Jacobs Highliner in Blacquer
  • Glam Glow Supercleanse Daily Clearing Cleanser
  • Sephora Rouge Infusion in #19 (Peony)
  • Bumble and bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Primer
  • Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation Face Creme
  • Elizabeth and James Nirvana White Fragrance

Don’t forget to sign up for it, if you are interested!

Benefit Sexy On The Run

Benefit always has adorable boxes…and they really are a decent value. The newest, retailing for $32, is “They’re Real! Sexy On The Run,” which includes:

– 0.01 oz They’re real! push-up liner (mini)
– 2 x 0.10 oz They’re real! mascara in Beyond Brown, Jet Black (mini)
– 0.1 oz They’re real! remover (mini)
– Tips and Tricks

As Benefit Cosmetics UK says, the kit helps to achieve “BEYOND longer lashes & bigger looking eyes.”  If that’s the case…and judging by the success of They’re Real…I’m pretty sure this lil’ box is going to do nicely!
