The concept here sounds wonderful for those ladies who are a slave to high-heat tools on a far-too-frequent basis (and, based on its 53 million look-ups, it’s clearly in demand!)
The reviews – 30 in total, for a five-star rating on Dermstore – certainly seem to back it up. I can’t say the images are 100% persuasive, however, as the example hair photos don’t exactly appear smooth and silky. That said, depending on how defiant these models’ hair truly is, and taking into account the photographers haven’t polished the style (no faking = a good thing!)…these might well be outstanding, REAL results.
The idea here is that a woman can brush her long locks and end up with silky, frizz-free, and straightened hair…no clamping, and no awkward straightening iron grabbing. The ceramic DAFNI purportedly protects the hair from damage, though beyond that it heats to an “optimal 185°C/365°F,” I’m not totally clear on how it does so.
AT $300, this isn’t a minor purchase, but if you do struggle to straightening things out, it may be a worthwhile investment. Here’s a quickie video – she seems pretty pleased!
