Well this is all very exciting! Seeing as I have, many times over, professed my adoration for Asian skincare and color, I am elated by all the accessible newness!
Sephora is once again giving a solid shout-out to the influence of overseas skincare and makeup, highlighting some of the new and exciting products from brands on both sides of the globe.
Belif’s True Cream Aqua Bomb offers “floods” the skin with hydration, making it a nice purchase for parched skin…and based on the reviews, it sounds like it does a nice job of it. I’m kind of tempted!
Dr. Jart’s Ceramidin has come out with a tinted balm, which I am certain will be flying off shelves after the successes of the other products in this Collection.
Erborian, actually a newer brand pick-up for Sephora, has an “aquagel” mask featured…a trend that has already hit the likes of Olay and Neutrogena, making a less-than-bashful-about-borrowing mass market debut. As with the “Aqua Bomb,” there’s that allusion to the refreshing and hydrating nature of good ol’ H2O!
While I think the US is seriously late to the party with this, I am T H R I L L E D to see the influx of innovative products, many taking their cues from overseas. Better late than never for sure! 🙂
